Kenneth "Scott" Helms
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014 at Crestwood Chapel for Mr. Kenneth "Scott" Helms, 42, of Prattville, Ala., formerly of Gadsden, who died Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Mike Davis officiated. Burial was at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home was in charge of services.
Scott was a 1990 graduate of Coosa Christian High School, and earned his degree in finance at Jacksonville State University.
He was preceded in death by his father, Everette "Sonny" Helms; grandparents, Nell and Gene Helms and Hilda and Chet O'Neal.
He is survived by his children, Sean, Brett and Julianne Helms; mother and stepfather, Karen (Randall) Thompson; aunt, Marcia (Bill) Lee; cousins, Suzanne (Obie) Mozley, and Blake and Nick; stepsisters, Leslie (Mike) Hunter, Beth Mintz; nieces and nephews, Leann Russell, Nichole (Ryan) Moody, Jacob Hunter, Karlee Hunter, Gia Antevey, Jayden Mintz, Kane Russell and Karson Moody.
