A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, Feb 6, in Crestwood Memorial Chapel for Ken Wallace Godfrey, age 66, Newnan, Georgia (Formerly of Gadsden) who died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010. Rev. Wayne Brewer will officiate.
Ken was the son of the late Donald and Maudia Godfrey. He grew up in Gadsden and was a graduate of Gadsden High School, Class of 1961. He had worked 28 years for General Electric in Atlanta, Georgia until he retired in 2007.
He is survived by his Daughters Amber Godfrey, Attalla, and Angie (John) Carter, Wetumpka, AL; Son Blake (Kim) Lowe, Pell City, AL; Grandchildren Cole Carter, William Carter, and Jack Lowe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Memphis, TN.
Friends and family will be welcomed from 2pm until the hour of service.
