Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2013 at Crestwood Memorial Chapel for Ms. Kathryn Heard, age 56, of Gadsden, who passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Bro. Craig Carlisle will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Ms. Heard was a member of 12th Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Marjorie Heard and a brother, Stan Heard.
She is survived by her brothers, Chris Heard, of Bel Air, Maryland and Bruce (Kaye) Heard, of Southside; nephews, Marc (Missy) Heard, of Birmingham and Jon (Kamara) Heard, of Concord, GA; and her nieces, Leslie (Joey) Sawyer, of Chelsea and Julie Robinson, of Southside.
