Funeral will be at 1 pm, Tuesday, July 15th, at Crestwood Funeral Home for Kathleen Pinkston Turner, age 82, who died Saturday, July 12th, 2014. Pastor Tommy Marshal and Pastor Terry Workman will officiate. Burial at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Mrs. Turner worked for H.D. Lee for 20 years. She loved her children dearly. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved to sing, and she loved southern gospel music. She was a huge fan of Hank Williams. She was an avid wrestler fan. She loved the Lord, life, and her children.
She was married to Robert Pinkston for 42 years. After he passed, another Robert walked into her life. They married and from there on they shared a fairytale marriage. When he passed, a part of her heart went with him. She will be greatly missed. Life will be hard not having her with us anymore. We love you, momma, forever and always.
She is preceded in death by Robert Pinkston, Brandi Hannah Bullock, Minnie A. Crowe, and Robert Turner.
She is survived by Jimmy Pinkston (Sandra), Kathie Tuck (Larry), Keith Pinkston (Patricia), Mark Turner (Rhonda); special grandson, Brandon Hannah, host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to Gina Hannah (granddaughter) for loving and caring for her, Amedysis, Ryann, Jay for the kindness he showed with my mother and family.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held the day of the service, from 11 am " 1 pm.
