Kathleen Joan Sizemore Taylor, age 85, passed away on February 6, 2024. The family will have a private memorial service with brother Anthony Copeland officiating.

Mrs. Taylor was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She worked in healthcare for years at Gadsden Baptist Memorial Hospital, Holy Name of Jesus Hospital, St. Lukes Nursing Home of Birmingham, AL, and several private duty nursing.

She is survived by her son Doug Taylor of Mclean, VA, daughter Cindy Taylor of Gadsden, AL, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles D. Taylor, parents Fred and Carrie Sizemore, sisters Burma Robinson, Robbie Bradford, Evelyn Logan, Margaret Brown, Junita Harp, Nona Loconto, Jean Morris, EllaRee Sharpton, brothers Dwight (Dude) Sizemore, Bill Sizemore and Frank Sizemore

The family would like to express a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Gadsden Health and Rehab and Dr. Reiland.
