Mrs. Karen Paige Tanner, age 47 of Pell City, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015. Her funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m., in Crestwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip burden officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, 1 p.m. until time of funeral.
Mrs. Tanner was a 1987 graduate of Glencoe High School. Survivors include her father, James Slaten, Sr.; mother and stepfather, Jane and Ed Evans; brothers, James Slaten, Jr. and Wade Slaten; nieces and nephews, Ashley Wheeler, Austin Slaten, Allee Slaten and Megan Slaten; grand-nieces and nephews, Sadie Wheeler, Mason Wheeler and Jayce Slaten; sisters-in-law, Angie Slaten and Candi Slaten; very special friend, Jim Cook.
