Karen Mitchell King, age 65, of Altoona, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024. Graveside services will be 2 pm Friday December 6,2024 at Crestwood Cemetery to honor her life and legacy.

Born on September 6, 1959, to the late Thomas Earl Mitchell and Geraldine Mitchell, Karen was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the beloved wife of Thomas Edgar King.

Known for her warmth and generosity, Karen opened her heart and home to everyone around her, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched. She will be remembered for her loving spirit and steadfast devotion to her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Contessa King, whose memory will always be cherished.

Karen is survived by her daughters: Melina King, Francesca Tozzi, and Angeleia King (Moises Juan); her treasured grandchildren: Damian King, Mindi Stancil, Kaci Ball, Nadia King, Alissa King, Zen Stocks, William Humphrey, Lillian Humphrey, Rafael King, Rogelio King, Maya King, and Joses King; and her great-grandchildren: Kole King and Kye King. She is also survived by her siblings, Susan (Mack) Gilbreath and Thomas F. Mitchell.

Pallbearers will include Rafael King, Damian King, Moises Juan, and Frankie Mitchell.

Karen Mitchell King's legacy of love and kindness will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
