Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday, at Forestlawn Cemetery, for Mrs. Judith Ann Townsend, age 72, of Delta, who died Tuesday, September 6, 2022. Dr. Pete Frames will officiate. Crestwood Funeral Home announcing.

Judy will be remembered as a Christian. She loved being an educator, enjoyed traveling, shopping, antiquing, and wow what a cook. Family was everything to her. She was loved and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents P.I. and Eva Jean Waldrop.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry; children Jud(Tracy) Townsend and Jamie(Jeff) Blakemore; grandchildren Gabe and Ansley Blakemore; brother Preston(Brenda) Waldrop and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Preston Waldrop, Johnny Waldrop, Jeff  Blakemore, Gabe Blakemore, Bill Townsend, and Joey Spalding.

Honorary pallbearer is Col. Earl Shackelford.

The family will receive friends from 10 am until the time of service Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Forestlawn Chapel.
