Joyce Marie Minshew Walls, Gadsden, was called home to our Lord on Monday, March 14, 2011. She was preceded in death by daughter, Deborah Brown; grandson, Jason Brown. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Wayne Walls; daughter; Cendi Walls (Johny) Amos; grandson, Mitchell (Brittany) Barfield; granddaughter, Jessica Brown. Mrs. Walls was also blessed with two great-granddaughters; Paisley Barfield (2) and Jalynn Martinez (1). She also had many family and friends whom she held close to her heart. Mrs. Walls was a loving wife, mother, mawmaw and friend. She will be missed by many and forgotten by none. Funeral will be held at Crestwood Funeral Home at 3 p.m. today. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to service. The family ask that donations be made to any cancer charity in her name. Flowers will be accepted at Crestwood Funeral Home
