Josephine Appling Gamblin

Glencoe - Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Crestwood
Cemetery, for Mrs. Josephine Appling Gamblin, age 104, of Glencoe, who passed away
peacefully in her sleep, on October 10, 2021, at Coosa Valley Health, where she has resided for
the last 5 years. Rev. Jack Smith will officiate. Crestwood Funeral Home announcing.
Born on April 10, 1917, she was known as Maw Maw by friends and family alike. A member of
the Church of God for over 80 years, she was a devoted prayer warrior who loved reading her
Bible and has been looking forward to and praying for the day she would meet her Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by husband, James M Gamblin and son, Rev. Harold (Ruth) Gamblin.
She is survived by son Jerome (Peggy) Gamblin.
Grandchildren, Teresa Pruitt, Doug (Cindy) Gamblin, Debbie (David) Gamblin, Mark Gamblin
and Jay (Carrie) Gamblin.
Great Grandchildren, Jeff (Teona) Ragan, Laura (Tony) Goza, Andrew (Lila) Gamblin, Adam
(Keri) Gamblin, Carly (Zac) Bise, Breanne (Cody) Farr, Brandi (Kevin) Rowan.
Great Great Grandchildren Riley Ragan, Chloie Ragan, Lane (Emma) Goza, Gage Goza, Arlie
Gamblin, August Donaldson, Emerson Farr, Hallie Farr, Atlee Rowan and Kullen Rowan.
