Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2018  at Crestwood Funeral Home for Joseph Alfred Marks 68 of Gadsden who died June 29, 2018. Reverends'ygh Wayne Milam and Daryl Wallace will officiate. Burial will be at Noble Hill Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.

Mr. Marks was a member of The  Church at Wills Creek and he also graduated from Etowah High School in 1968. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber in January after 47 years of service. He also pastured numerous churches in Etowah and Blount County.

Mr. Marks is survived by children; Chris (Dee) Marks, Craig Marks, Carrie (Chad) Carver. Grandchildren, Katelyn (Josh) Miller, Alex Marks, Nick Marks, Sadie Grace Carver, Brady Carver, great-grandchild, Paisley Miller, sisters; Edna Lankford, Martha Mayo and Vickie (Jim) Morgan.

Pallbearers will be Scott Beck, Daryl and Ernest Wallace, John and Mike Lankford, Scott Jones and Ricky Noble.

Visitation will be Monday, July 2, 2018 6-8 p.m.
