Joseph Marcus Litteral, age 50, of Gadsden passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010. He was born in Long Beach, California where he grew up. He spent most of his adult life in the Birmingham area and resided in Gadsden for the past 2 years.
He dearly loved his children, Goddaughter, special friends, neighbors, his fish, and ferret. He enjoyed spending time with family, photography, trail riding with his son, and cooking with his daughter.
He had worked in the carpet and flooring industry for 25 years. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Z.P.Helms, uncle Jerry Helms, and aunt Bertha Thomason.
He is survived by his loving children- daughter Christy Litteral, son Trint Litteral, Goddaughter Lauren Parker; mother Peggy Wilson; brothers Aaron and Greg Litteral; cousins Jerelyn Cowan, Shelia and Cecil Thomason, and Ann Lynn Cook; nieces and nephews; and special friends Shannan, Darlene, Jade, and Randy.
