A Memorial service will be at 4pm Sunday at Crestwood Chapel for Mike Nunn, age 57, of Anniston, formerly of Gadsden who died Wednesday March 19, 2014. Dr. Jerry Cobb will officiate. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct services.

Mike worked at Goodyear prior to joining the family business, Gadsden Moving and Storage, and eventually became a full time truck driver. He was an avid sportsman who loved bowling and riding his dirt bike. He also enjoyed spending time fishing with family and friends. He was looking forward to taking his granddaughter, Ruby Cates, to Disney World and it would have been great since Mike was a kid at heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents John and Alline Nunn; and mother and father in law Jeff and Shelbie Sheppard.

He is survived by his wife of almost 34 years Pam Nunn; sons Chad (Ashley) Nunn and Kyle (Haley) Nunn; granddaughter Ruby Cates Nunn; brother Randy (Cindy) Nunn; Aunt and Uncle Gerald and Morene Martin; sister in law Rene Greene; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2pm until the hour of service.
