Special Memories of our Nanny: She loved pink (she even had a pink Christmas tree), pulling weeds, working on cars, taking care of everyone from a young age until her death, playing bingo, wearing hats, pulling for her beloved Auburn Tigers, but most of all she loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grans.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Dekalb County to the late Fulton Lewis and Magnolia Dalrymple. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Miles Gibert Wilson; daughters, Brenda Ann Wilson and Cynthia Diane Wilson Garmon; brothers, Dolan, Jerry, and Jay Dalrymple.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Joan Sims of Cumming, GA; daughters, Carol (Dan) Wilson Bryant, Sissy (Andy) Wilson Brown; sons, Ken (Kathy) Wilson and Anthony (Beth) Wilson; grandchildren, Scott (Angela) Ingram, Andrew Brown, Emily (Chris) Brown Cotney, Whitney (Paul) Wilson, Ashley (Jason) Wilson, Chris, Daphne and Clay (Katelyn) Garmon, Kara, Jason and Brad (Janet) Wilson; and 13 great-grandchildren, Morgan, Gracie, Abby, Anne Collier, Jake, Stella, Dru, Macy, Kennedy, Miles, Garmon, Will, Kellar, and Miles Wilson.
Pallbearers will be the grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers are her cherished East Gadsden neighbors.
Special thanks to caregivers Mary Senclair and Judith Crossin. Also to Amedisys Hospice, Dr. Sathyan Iyer, Scott at Corner Pharmacy, and special friend of fifty-eight years, Martha Ann Johnson.
Visitation for Mrs. Wilson will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
