Graveside services will be 1:30 pm Saturday, at Crestwood Cemetery, for Mr. John L. Padgett, age 85, of Glencoe, who died Tuesday, October 4, 2021. Brother Lauill Thompson will officiate. Crestwood Funeral home announcing.

Mr. Padgett will be remembered for his love of anything outdoors, fishing, hunting especially deer, Alabama Football, but he really loved and cherished family and the many reunions they had .His mother, sisters and many nieces and nephews meant the world to him. He was loved and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his mother Della Padgett, and niece Lynn Kaul.

He is survived by sisters Norma Patterson and Gail Wilhite, nieces and nephews Phil(Renee) Patterson, Mitch Patterson, Craig(Teresa) Leath,Lisa Presley. Robbie Leath, Chris Leath and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers are friends and extended family.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12:30 until the time of service.
