A memorial service for Mr. John Luscinski, age 86, of Wellington, will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Crestwood Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Montevallo National Cemetery.

John passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. He will be fondly remembered for his deep love of hunting, fishing, and black powder firearms. A proud United States Air Force retiree, he served his country with distinction for over 20 years. As an aircraft mechanic, his skill and dedication earned the respect of commanding officers, who often requested him specifically for engine service and maintenance.

John was a strong, rugged man—a "man's man"—but he also had a tender heart, especially when it came to his wife and family, whom he loved dearly. His life was filled with travel and adventure, and he lived it fully and without reservation. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.

He was preceded in death by his sons, John Luscinski Jr. and Donald Michael Luscinski; his parents, John and Mary Luscinski; his sister, Mary Brume; and his brother, Robert Luscinski.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Edith Luscinski; children, Rayliene Hutchens, Helen (Michael) Hancock, and Rosemary Guest; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, with one more on the way; sister, Helen Allen; siblings Theodore (Virginia) Luscinski and Jeanette(Robert) Touchette; daughter in law Belinda Luscinski as well as a large extended family.
