Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday, at Crestwood Chapel, for Mr. John Albert Leslie, age 93, of Gadsden, who died Sunday July 31,2022. Tommy Marshall and Don Arnold will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery.

John will be remembered as a devout Christian,loved The Lord with all  of his heart and was a longtime member of Tabernacle Church, Eagle Scout and a graduate of Birmingham Southern University,Goodyear retiree serving in numerous departments over the years, and proud Army Veteran. He loved his family more than words can say, especially the love of his life Addie, whom he shared over 59 years of marriage.

He is preceded in death by wife Addie,parents George and Paula Leslie,brothers George and Ed and sisters Martha and Merle,and daughter in law Tammy Leslie.

He is survived by sons Johnny(Cheryl), Bruce(Lynn) and Glenn(Melissa) Leslie,grandchildren Cristin(Daniel) Prater, Kyle Leslie, Dillon Leslie, Katie(Dalton) Gargus, Cameron Leslie,Saxon Meeks, Emily(Corey) Coggins, Ryan(Erica) Leslie, Andrew Leslie,great grandchildren Cole, Knox, Beau, Grant, Owen, Camden, Lawson, Carter, Hudson and Addie.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Leslie, Andrew Leslie, Kyle Leslie, Dillon Leslie, Kerrigan Clark and Dalton Gargus.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10 am until the time of service.
