Funeral services will be 12 pm Saturday, February 17,2024, at Crestwood Mausoleum for Mrs.Joan "Mucker" Stoddard, age 85, of Rainbow City, who died Tuesday February 13,2024. John Reynolds will officiate. Burial in Crestwood Mausoleum.
Joan will be remembered as a Christian first,loved Flamingos,swimming, reading ,puzzles and chocolate covered donuts. She had a great and sometimes strange sense of humor. She was a loving wife ,mother, grandmother and friend. She was loved and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by husband George Stoddard Jr. ,daughter Carol Carlisle and parents John and Ethyl Dent.
She is survived by daughters Beth Lynn Stoddard and Melissa( Thomas ) Finch, grandchildren Daniel McKinney, George Thomas Finch,brother John(Cathy) Dent and a large extended family.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jay and Cathy Weldon and family.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10 am until the time of service.
