Joan Battles Fleeman,63, of Southside passed away on March 8, 2021
after an extended battle with Covid. She will have a graveside service
11:00 am Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Forrest Cemetery with Rev.
Tommy Marshall and Rev. Kevin Asbury officiating.

Mrs. Fleeman is survived by her husband, Jim Fleeman; son, Zachary
Battles; brother, Mike Battles and sister, Dottie (Roger) Porter.

Joan was a lifelong resident of Gadsden where she had a successful
salon business, Choice Cut. She enjoyed serving her many customers
and friends. Joan was a talented artist who loved to draw and paint. Her
friends will always remember her as a passionate animal lover.
Schnauzer "Choco" was always by her side.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Christ Central Methodist
Church of Rainbow City or The Tabernacle Church of Gadsden.
