Jimmy C. Elliott passed away on April 16, 2025, at the age of 83. He was born in Gadsden and graduated from Glencoe High School. He then graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering .

He spent the next 60 plus years working and living in Atlanta, Ga. After a decline in his health, he moved back to Alabama to live with his sister and brother-in-law.

He was pre-deceased by his parents Clyde and Mary Anna Elliott. He is survived by his sister, Cathy Elliott Mobley (Gary) of Hayden, his nephew Brett Lockridge (Jamie) of Warrior, and 2 great nephews, Blake Lockridge of Daphine, and Rooks Lockridge of Warrior.

Per Jim's request he will be cremated and there will be no service or flowers.

There will be a graveside for the interment of his ashes in the family plot at Crestwood Cemetery on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 1:00 PM.

His family would like to thank his life-long friends and neighbors in Georgia who held such a special place in his heart and were unwavering in their friendship bond with him.
