Jimmy Lamar Davis, age 72, passed away on December 20, 2025, following an extended illness.

Jimmy was a longtime resident of Alabama. He was known for being headstrong, determined, and unwavering in his convictions. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna Kay Lester Davis; his parents, Jimmy F. and Gloria Davis; and his sister, Greta Champion.

He is survived by his three daughters, Tessa (Clint) Davis, Misty (Mark) Medders, and Melissa Davis; his grandchildren, Emily (David) O'Neill, Madison Cody, Isaac Cody, Charles Medders, Collin Cody, Connor Thrift, Mary Medders, Zoey Crowl, Ethan Medders, and Logan Thrift; his great-grandchildren, Paislee O'Neill and Mylee O'Neill; his sisters, Tina Davis and Gina Dula; and numerous extended family members.

The family will hold a private memorial service prior to his interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery and Mausoleum.
