Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at Crestwood Chapel for Mrs. Jimmie Kay Davis Watson, 59, of Rainbow City, who died Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Pastor Troy Walker will officiate. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
She was born in 1955 in Gadsden, Ala., to Catherine and Jim Morgan. Her only sister and best friend was Barbara "Bobbie" Wagnon.
Jimmie was an extraordin-ary nana and dedicated mother. She enjoyed life's adventures with her husband, Gary Watson. She was a friend to all she met.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Catherine and Jim Morgan.
She is survived by her sons, Jay (Lorrie) and Josh (Kelly) Davis; beloved grandchildren, Mia Rose, Eli Davis, Morgan Davis and Mason Faulkner; sister, Barbara (Warren) Wagnon; and niece, Katie Barber and her daughters, Mary Kathryn and Wende (Dwight) Driskell. She is also survived by her husband, Gary Watson; and father of her sons, Warren Davis; special cousins, Jaye Griffey, Tonie McCord and Debbie Gaskey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Etowah County Humane Society.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
