Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Crestwood Chapel for Jewell Munroe Bolding Hemrick, 92, of Gadsden, who died Sept. 25, 2012. Brother Brooks Boyd will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct the service. Mrs. Hemrick was a former employee of The Gadsden Times, Hicks Family Shoe Store and then Dixie Tool and Dye. She was a graduate of Gadsden Business College and majored in accounting. She was a member of Sansom Avenue Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Washington Bolding and Gilbert Hemrick; son, Bruce Munroe; mother, Minda Lenning Munroe; and sisters, Brucetta Igou and Flarrie Lenning Wilson. She is survived by her nephew, Joseph Igou; and great-nephews, Jason and Justin Igou. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Church of Christ. The family expresses their special thanks to the congregation of Fairview Church of Christ. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the hour of service.
