Jerry Dewayne Watson went home to Jesus on August 19, 2021 at age 53.

Jerry was to William and Helen Watson on May 31st, 1968 in Opelika. As a child he enjoyed playing sports, especially baseball, reading, fishing, and playing with toy cars.

Jerry met his wife Debbie in 1986 and got married on July 13, 1991.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving father, Jerry loved blue grass/country music, Alabama football and especially his chic-fil-a kids. Throughout his life he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.

Jerry joins his father William Watson, sister Patricia Lynn Watson.

He is survived by wife Deborah Lynn Watson, son Caleb Watson, daughter Gracie Watson, sister Shirley Cone (Ernie) brother Larry Watson, and mother Helen Watson, niece Elizabeth Cone, niece Alyssa Law nephew Brandon Law.

Pallbearers are; Ozzie Solisl, Robbie Eagly, David Taybr, James Watson, Wesley Waldrup, and Zach Vascocu.
