Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at Crestwood Funeral Home for Jerry Edward Tillery, 71, Gadsden, who died Sunday, May 22, 2011. Bros. Paul McWhorter and Bobby Winningham will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Lela Tillery, Clayton and Gladys Barnes. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; children, Sherry (David) Eubanks, Cyndi (Scott) Barksdale; grandchildren, Heather (J.D.) Thompson, Fort Hood, Texas, Emily Eubanks, Katelyn Eubanks, Maria Barksdale, Matthew Barksdale; great-grandchild, Coraline Thompson; sister, Arlene Pemberton, Albertville; brother, Ronnie Tillery, Rainbow City; a host of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Turkeytown Methodist Church. Special thanks to the Coates Bend Volunteer Fire Department for all of their help at our time of need.
