Funeral services for Jerry Lee Lipscomb, age 78, of Gadsden, who entered into rest on May 16, 2023, will be at 1pm on Thursday, May 18, 2023. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm. Services will be held at Crestwood Funeral Home and burial will follow at Fairview Baptist Cemetery. Jeremy Jones and Austin Wilbourn will officiate and Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Jerry was a retiree from Etowah County Road Department. In his younger years, he was all about outdoors: camping, fishing, and family time. He also loved Alabama Football and Nascar. Jerry was a faithful Christian and devoted family man. He was loved and will be dearly missed.
Jerry is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Deborah, and grandson Taylor Self.
He is survived by daughters, Teresa Walker, Valerie Wilbourn; grandchildren, Brandon Odell, Cody Odell, Brianna Wilbourn, and Austin Wilbourn; great-grandchildren, Jenson Odell, sister Gail (Romie) Bearden, Wanda Nicholson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers  will be Bobby Sholar, Allan Smith, Nathan Trimm, Jake Trimm, Elijah Trimm and Ken McClellan.
