Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Crestwood Chapel for Jerry Wayne Casey, age 75, of Hokes Bluff. Jerry passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery.  Crestwood Funeral Home will direct services.
Jerry was a graduate of Glencoe High School and had been a member of the U.S. Army Reserve. He had worked at Flowers Bakery for many years, had his own dump truck Company, and retired from Vulcan Materials as a QC Tech with 20 years' service. When not working, Jerry enjoyed fishing, doing woodwork, and spending time with family. He loved his family and would never forget anyone's birthday.
He is preceded in death by his parents Kyle and Louise Casey and niece Andrea Casey.
Jerry is survived by his sons Mike (Jane) Casey and Jeff (Sharon) Casey; grandchildren Madison (Tanner) Shields and Hunter (Kaileigh) Casey; great grandchildren Miller Cherry, Olivia Shields, Griff Shields, Leigha Kay Casey and Wilson Casey; sister Nina Casey; brother Rev. Kenneth (Peggy) Casey; nephew Mark (Allison) Casey; great niece Anna Kate Casey; great nephew Parker Casey; and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Mark Casey, Parker Casey, Hunter Casey, Tanner Shields, Roger Barron, and Tim Barron.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the Nurses and staff of Gentiva Hospice, especially Tammy Collier for the care and comfort shown to Jerry and his family.
There will be no visitation.
