Graveside services will be at 1pm TODAY at Crestwood Cemetery for Janie Ruth Guyton of Gadsden who went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, November 5, 2007. Rev. Larry Garrard will officiate. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Guyton was preceded in death by her husband David Thrasher, eleven brothers and sisters, and her parents, Antha Josha Wilson Sheffield and James Walker Sheffield.
She is survived by her husband, Richard F. Guyton, daughters, Sherrie Ann (Lester) Simmons and Kathy Nell (David) Tidwell, five grandchildren, Richard David (Karen) Simmons, Timothy Gordon Simmons, Teresa Jane Johnson, James Bradley (Angel) Tidwell, Kelli Nichole Tidwell (Daniel) Smith, fourteen great-grandchildren, and special niece JoAnne Burgess.
A special thanks to Attalla Health Care F Hall staff, the staff at Davita Dialysis Center, and Dr. Todd Cross for all their love and care for our dear mother.
The family will meet at the cemetery for the graveside services.
