A celebration of life service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home for Janice McClellan, 62, Glencoe, who was called home to heaven June 29th 2013. The Rev. David Denson will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.

Janice was born September 16th 1950 in Gadsden, Alabama, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She worked at HealthTex, Bobbie Brooks and Meadowood Retirement Center. She was a member of North Glencoe Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold McClellan; mother, Jeanette Cranford and brother, Allen Cranford; in laws, Harry and Margrette McClellan; Carlotta McCurdy.

She is survived by her companion, Mark Farrington; son, Kenneth (Lori) McClellan; daughters, Maria (Rudy) Santos, Kimberly (Chris) Vaughn and Brandy (Brent) Blackwell; father, Frank Cranford; sisters, Leesonia (Marion) Tolson, Lavonda (Lewis) Cook, Sherree (Donny) Hunter, Tiwana (Jeff) Schnebel; brothers, Harold (Sharon) Cranford, Johnny (Joan) Cranford, David (Kathie) Cranford; sister- in- law, Janice Cranford and lifelong best friend Ruth Tullis; grandchildren, Austin and Sierra Santos, Deserea and Michael Yates, McKenna and McKenize McClellan, Caden Blackwell and John Jones; great-grandchild: Christopher Brayden Santos; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Freddy McClellan, Chris McClellan, Deric Cline, Verlyn McCurdy, Scott McCurdy, Matthew Hunter and Johnny Lay.

Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Dunn, David Huie and Randy Barber.

The family will receive friends from tonight from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home.
