Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Monday, August 1, 2022, at Crestwood Chapel for Janet Whitmore Vinyard, age 76, of Wellington. Janet passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 at her home with her family. Rev. Curtis Scott will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery.
Janet is preceded in death by her son, Slade Singleton; grandsons William Marks Espy, Jr and Grant Godwin Singleton; parents Robert and Jo Whitmore; and brother Kim Whitmore.
Janet was a graduate of Gadsden High School and had attended Snead State College. She had worked at East Gadsden Clinic for many years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and "Gran".
She is survived by her husband Johnny L. Vinyard; daughters Gina Loveman (Alan) and Jana Espy (Bill); a host of grandchildren; sister in law Tina Whitmore; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to you favorite charity.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the hour of service.
