Funeral service will be at 11AM Friday, October 4, at Crestwood Chapel for Janet L. Fulmer, age 74, of Gadsden who passed away October 2, 2013. Rev. Danny Flora will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery, Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct service.

Mrs. Fulmer was a graduate of Glencoe High School, Class of 1958. She had retired from Belks of Gadsden where she had worked as a seamstress. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a friend to all and will be dearly missed.

Mrs. Fulmer is preceded in death by her parents, Russel and Frances Pieper.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, David Fulmer; daughter Susan (Lynn) Calhoun; sons, David Paul (Joy) Fulmer and Russell Boyd (Cynthia) Fulmer; grandchildren Kimberly (Michael) Green, Halie Fulmer, Daniel Fulmer, Brook Fulmer, Patrick Paige, and Blair Fulmer; great grandchildren Carter Green and Loatsie Whitmire.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to express special thanks to the ER and MICU staff at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6pm until 8pm.
