Graveside services will be 11 am Friday at Pine Grove Cemetery for Mr. James "Rance" Young age 34 of Glencoe who died Tuesday. Brother Mark Gidley will officiate. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Rance was a 2001 graduate of Glencoe High School and a 2006 graduate of Jacksonville State University with a degree in Psychology and Political Science. He was an avid sports fan, so much so that he created a non-gambling website detailing his picks for upcoming games. He was also a traveler ready to go anytime anyplace and as his father said in cars that were questionable as to whether or not they were road ready. Didn't matter he went.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Oliver Smith and Wallace and Merle Young. He recently lost his faithful traveling buddy his dog Dexter.
He is survived by his wife Haley, parents Randy and Sherry Young, sisters Miranda (Seth) Hannah, Amanda (Chris) Hindsman, nephew Tucker, nieces Lily and Emily, grandmother Ruby Smith, father and mother in law Jeff and Terri Dennison, brother in law Cody Dennison, special friend Nanook and a large extended family.
Pallbearers will be Randy Young, Darren Young, Thomas Kinney, Zack McKenzie, Chris Hindsman and Seth Hannah.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 10 am until the time of service.
