Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Crestwood Chapel for James Davis Morris, 46, Rockledge, who died Monday, April 4, 2011. The Rev. Mark Harris will officiate. Burial will be at Williams Southside Memorial Park. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct service. James had graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1993. He worked for Fred's for 12 years and was most recently the manager of Fred's in Crossville. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Lula Morris, Caldwell and Inez Garmon; and brother-in-law, Stephen Hughes. He is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Camille Morris; sisters, Gina Hughes and Tina Morris; uncle, Harold (Margaret) Morris; nephews, Stephen and Jim Hughes; special friend, Gloria; and numerous cousins. Honorary pallbearers are the employees of Fred's. Special thanks to the emergency personnel of Cullman County and City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from noon until the hour of service.
