Funeral will be held at 12 PM, Wednesday, January 13th, 2016, at Crestwood Chapel for James Davey Matthews, 65, of Rainbow City, who passed away on Sunday, January 10th, 2016. Bro. Daniel Pope will officiate. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.

Mr. Matthews was an avid fan of Auburn Football.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Laura Matthews; brother, Gerald Matthews; and sister, Wanda Jenkins.

He is survived by his sister, Gloria Noah; brothers, Michael and Doyle Matthews; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
