Graveside services for Mr. James L. Coffey age 86 of Hokes Bluff will be 2 pm today at Crestwood Cemetery. Wayne Elliott will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Mr. Coffey attended Hokes Bluff School. He was owner operator of his own trucking business for over 45 years. He also owned and operated Ballplay Grocery and was co-owner of Coffey Brothers Colt League baseball team.
He is preceded in death by wife Mary Bussey Coffey; son Dennis Coffey; parents J.C. and Willie Mae Coffey; brothers J.W. "Dub", Vandel and Bob Coffey.
He is survived by children Debbie(Carl) Helms and Nancy(Lex) Sewell; grandchildren Mandi (Timmy) Godfrey, Jamie(Michael) Lloyd, Matt and Jesse Hanks, Cassidy Sewell; great grandchildren Chad(Emily) Godfrey, Colton(Alex) Godfrey, Jace Hanks, Dock and Shelby Lloyd, great-great grandchildren Bryson, Carlee and Eden Godfrey; sister Faye Robertson, brother Jack Coffey. James also had a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Matt and Jesse Hanks, Timmy, Chad and Colton Godfrey and Michael Lloyd.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 12 noon until the time of service.
