Name: James M Hicks
Funeral services for Mr. James M Hicks age 96 of Glencoe who died Sunday July 28, 2013 will be held Wednesday 2 pm at Crestwood Chapel. Reverend Harvey Beck will officiate. Entombment will be in Crestwood Mausoleum. Crestwood Funeral Home in charge of services.
Mr. Hicks retired as a production supervisor at Flowers Baking Company. He was a longtime member of Glencoe First Baptist Church. He loved Fishing and camping. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by wife Nadine , son Jimmy and brother Oliver Hicks.
He is survived by daughter Reverend Tammy (Joseph) Jackson.Five grandchildren.Andrew and Ryan Jackson and Rusty, Jay and Tara Hicks. Two sisters Thelma Arnold and June Byrd.
The family will except flowers or donations may be made to Hewett United Methodist Church of Albertville Alabama.
Special thanks to Gadsden Healthcare and Southern Care Hospice.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 pm until the time of service.
