Funeral services will be 2 pm Friday, at Crestwood Chapel, for Mr. Dannis "J.D." Fox, age 85, of Attalla, who died Tuesday September 28 ^th . Chris King will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery.

Dannis will be remembered as an outgoing personable man, Goodyear retiree, Army Veteran who loved all outdoors, gardening, hunting, fishing, and Alabama Football. He was a loving family man, husband, father grandfather and friend to all and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by wife Martha, children Debra and Danny, parents Bill and Ruth Fox, and brothers Johnny, George and Leonard.

He is survived by children Pam White, Robert Fox, grandchildren Felisha, Greg, Tricia and Brittany, Leslie, Ronnie, Danielle and several great grandchildren and a large extended family.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1 pm until the time of service.
