Funeral services will be 3 pm Friday, at Crestwood Chapel, for Mr. James Ormond Elliott, age 84, of Gadsden, who died Monday, February 14, 2022. Pastors Sammy O'Dell and Gary Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home announcing.

Ormond was a 1955 graduate of Gadsden High School. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber company with 41 years of service.

He is preceded in death by parents Oscar and Enola Elliott and brother Sidney Elliott.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary O'Dell Elliott, daughter Polly Anna Kay Davis and son in-law Keith Davis, and his brother Earl Gary Elliott and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Keith Elliott, Randy Suggs, Scott O'Dell, Larry LeCroy, Gerald O'Dell, and Mitch Gargus.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 2 pm until the time of service.
