Jack Allen Wagnon, born August 28th, 1926, passed on to his eternal home in Glory Thursday, October 14th, 2021, at the age of 95.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years Jean Wagnon; parents Herman and Louise Wagnon; brothers Lloyd, LaDell, and Jerry Wagnon.

He is survived by brothers Robert Wagnon and Roy Wagnon; sister Sadie (Wallace) Brown; children Teresa Green, Mark (Cheryl) Wagnon, Marie (Mike) Garigues, and Scott (Martha) Wagnon; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many other special family members. He also leaves behind his dearest friend Nellie Jo Moore.

He was a lifelong resident of Etowah County and mainly East Gadsden. Jack was a United States Army veteran where he served in the 1950s. He began working in the optical business from a young age where he worked for both American Optical and White Haines Optical in Gadsden. He eventually retired from the corporate field in the late 1980s. He worked with his brothers Robert and Jerry at Arrowhead Associates Land Surveyors during the 1990s. He was a lifetime member of Paden Baptist Church where he served as the church's custodian up until his death. Never one to sit still you could always find him tinkering about with something out in the yard. An avid music lover he often played piano for family and his own enjoyment. He was a loyal friend to many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Alabama Baptists Children's Home.

Graveside services will be on Monday, October 18, 2021, at 1 o'clock pm at Crestwood Cemetery.
