A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Riverbend Baptist Church of Gadsden, (Whorton Bend area) for Mrs. Ina Dean Roper Phillips, 80 of Southside, who passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019. Brother Ron Parr will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewitt and Leona Gaddis Roper, siblings; Ola Roper Welch, A.D. Roper, Eslin Roper, Frank Roper, Cleo Roper, Manuel Roper, Bill Roper, Marjorie Roper Willett.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by her husband; Henry Gareth Phillips, sons; Lance(Natalie) and Mead(Tina) Phillips, grandchildren; Anna(Tyler Gray), Micah, Katelynn, and Keira Phillips, Megan Tennyson, Kailey(Tyler) Snow, Braden(Mindy), Landon, and Lainie Phillips, great-grandson, Kai Phillips, brother, Emett Roper, sisters in law; Nancy Shelton and Sue Stewart, and numerous nieces and nephews, and a large extended family.

Special thanks to nurses and staff in the CCU Unit at Riverview Hospital.
