Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at Crestwood Chapel for Imogene Cochran, 83, of Gadsden, who died Feb. 21, 2013. The Rev. Chad Owens will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct the services.
Mrs. Cochran was of the Baptist faith. She was married to Claudus A. "Sonnie" Cochran and together they owned and operated Cochran Classic Cars. She was a faithful and dedicated mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claudus A. "Sonnie" Cochran; sisters, Hope Abernathy and Geneva Esslinger; and brother, Jimmy Abernathy.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie (Eugene) Crowe, Kathy (Danny) Blackerby and Sharon (David Willie) Easter; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be her sons-in-law, grandson and great-grandsons.
The family expresses their special thanks to Dr. Deborah Reiland and the nurses and staff at Gadsden Health Care.
The family will receive friends Sunday, one hour prior to the service.
