Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 12 p.m. at Crestwood Funeral Home for Imogene Brannan Bonner, age 90, of Gadsden who died Saturday, July 28, 2018. Andrew Gregg will officiate. Burial is at Crestwood Cemetery and Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.

Mrs. Bonner was born in Cullman, Alabama but spent the last 70 years in Gadsden, Alabama.  She was a member of Christ Central Church for over 50 years where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years. Imogene was a very artistic person who worked in several mediums and produced many beautiful pieces of art during her lifetime.

Mrs. Bonner is preceded in death by her husband, Roy S. Bonner and her son Michael R. Bonner, her daughter Brenda Heaton, and parents, O.M. and Esther Brannan, her brother, Dwayne Brannan and her sister, Elizabeth Pylant.

Mrs. Bonner is survived by her children, Linda Brandon and Kenneth Bonner (Debbra) and grandchildren; Gene Burchfield (Cliff), Laura Witcher, Jeffrey Brandon, Matthew Bonner (Candice) and Faith Espy (Jeremy). Her family also includes 12 great-grand children and 1 great-great- grand child.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Brandon, Matthew Bonner, Cliff Burchfield, Zachary Burchfield, Noah Burchfield, and David Bonner.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to time of service.
