Imodean Street June 11,1927 — August 29, 2021

Imodean Street, 94, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Oak Landing Assisted Living in Attalla, Alabama. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm at Crestwood Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm. until the hour of service. Bro. Jimmy Bailey will officiate. Burial at Crestwood Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons Jerry Street (Kathy), Rick Street (Rebecca Jan), and Rodney Street (Debra); grandchildren Penny Blaylock (Daryl), Terry Street (Susan), Katie Baxter, Emily Zobanov (Ilya), Scott Street (Wendy), Stephanie Jenkins (Herb), Matt Street (Meg); great-grand children Jordan Dillon (Josh), Corey Maxey (Clayton), Logan, McKenzie, Rylee, Hailee, and Hannah Street, Sophie and Natalie Zobanov, Isaac, Jonah, Asher, and Annabelle Street, and Carson and Connor Jenkins; great- great-grandchildren Alexis and Nathaniel Dillon, and Grayson Maxey; brothers J.P. and Elbert Lindsey, several nieces and nephews; and beloved friend Shirley Teal.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, A.L. Street, brother Willie G. Lindsey, sister Katherine Lindsey, and sister-in-law Barbara Lindsey.

Her life's work was rearing her family on Park Lane, Rainbow City and faithfully ministering alongside her husband as he pastored Baptist churches in North Alabama. Mrs. Street was a long-time member of Reed Memorial Baptist Church, Attalla, Alabama.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Oak Landing Assisted Living, along with Melissa and Jerry Paul Tinsley, for their excellent care of our mother. We also wish to thank Anna Stone and Lindy Gilbert with Kindred Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Imodean Street be made to the Etowah Baptist Missions Center, P. O. Box L, Gadsden, AL 35904.
