Funeral services for Ida Nell Blanton age 87 of Southside who died Tuesday will be 4 pm Thursday at Crestwood Chapel. Reverend Mathew Morrison will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Mrs. Blanton will be remembered as a devout Christian. The Lord came first in her life. She read the bible before she read the paper. If you needed prayer she was the prayer warrior. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend to all and will be dearly missed.
She is precede in death by husbands Ralph Hardin and Rueben Blanton, sisters Betty Wilson, Sally Brundage and Annie Dee Pierce, brothers W.M. Quinn and Earl Pruitt.
She is survived by son Bobby Hardin, daughters Nancy (Marion) Green, Carolyn (Larry) Hood and Linda(Gary) Parker. Grandchildren Greg(Melody) Green, Amy Green, Clay(Jackie(Hood, Derek(Kristi)Hood, Lamar and Mickey Parker, Brandi Parker and Logan Roberts, Holly(Michael) Sanford, great grandchildren Britney(Justin) Hester, Marti(Zack) McCord, Mike Mast, Kennedy-Kooper Hood, Mason Williams, Dallas and Danni and Layla Roberts, Cole Sanford, Brasher and Finley Parker, Daylon and Dillon Scott, great great Grandchildren Ella Grace and Eli Gage McCord.
Special friends Peggy Price and Bob and Jackie Bell.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
