Funeral services will be 1 pm today at Crestwood Chapel for Mr. Houston "Frank" Booker, age 84 of Gadsden who died Saturday. Reverend Chris Walker will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home announcing.

Frank will be remembered as a quiet easy going person who loved everybody. He could be the center of attention because of his wonderful sense of humor and ability to tell stories which he loved to do. He started working as a paper carrier for the Gadsden Times and worked his way into an office position and later worked as a tool grinder in a machine shop.

He loved all children especially his grands and great grands that he adored.

He is preceded in death by parents Houston and Kate Booker, brother Harold Booker, and Brother in law Aaron Lothridge.

He is survived by wife of 42 years Linda Booker, children Thomas(Cassie) Booker, Sheree(Lee) Riley, grandchildren Summer Riley and her fiancée Zach Hiett, Ashley Thomas, great grandchildren Blakely Fountain, Makiya Thomas and Millie Hiett, sisters Audrey Lothridge, Pat Booker mother in law Doris Thomason and in laws Pete(Donna) Williams, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Lee Riley, Zach Hiett, Billy Lothridge and Pete Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Light and Ronnie League.

Special thanks to nephew Billy Lothridge who was there when we needed him, Dr. Steve Sanders and Alacare Hospice.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 11 am until the time of service.
