Funeral services will be 3 pm Wednesday at Crestwood Chapel for Mr. Hobson L Brown age 81 of Altoona Who died Sunday. Pastor Kevin Garrett will officiate .Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Mr. Brown was a model train enthusiast and a very good carpenter, known around the family as Mr. Fix It. He worked as a truck driver. He was a family man first, loving husband, father, paw,paw and friend to all and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by parents Enoch and Clara Brown brothers, Wandell and Verlon and sister, Wilda Ray Brown.
He is survived by wife of 54 years Sybil, children Joe(Juanita) Richard(Nancy), Ken(Connie), David(Angela) Bart(Tammy) Brown,13 grandchildren ,18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, sisters in-law Mary Sauls and Elaine Brown.
Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 until 8 pm.
