Hiram "Lucille" Gipson age 87 passed from this life to be with the Lord on October 26th, 2015.
Funeral will be 11 am Thursday at Crestwood Chapel for Mrs. Hiram "Lucille" Gipson age 87 of Gadsden who died Monday. Minister Sister Lisa Kennedy will officiate . Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Mrs. Gipson was a much loved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a member of Carnes Baptist Church for 51 years. Mrs. Gipson Retired from Wesfam Restaurants (Burger King) in 1993 after 23 years of service.
Mrs. Gipson was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years Charles C. Gipson Jr.,2 sons Donald Wayne Gipson and William Oneal (Bill) Gipson, parents Gart and Myrtle Griffin, brother Acton Griffin and brothers in law Harold Bishop and Harold D.(Doug) Edwards.
Survivors include her beloved daughter Leretha Ruth Gipson Tinsley; Grandchildren Tammy Michelle Estes of Gadsden, Leslie(Brian)Shelor of Huntsville, Laura Gipson (Jason) Clark of Montgomery. Great granddaughters Sasha Corryn(John) Tidwell, and Kendall Lacey Smith all of Gadsden, Claudia Leslie Shelor and Emery Oneal Shelor both of Huntsville, great great grandsons John Hunter Tidwell and William Andrew Tidwell both of Gadsden, two beloved sisters Norah Leigh Edwards and Ima Gean Bishop both of Gadsden numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be friends and relatives.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 9 am until the time of service.
