Funeral services will at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014, at East Gadsden Baptist Church for Hesta Watts, 90, of Gadsden, who passed away December 13, 2014. Bros. Paul Harbison, Bill Harbison and John Dickinson will officiate. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery.
Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Mrs. Watts was a loyal member of East Gadsden Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher for over 40 years. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Harold Watts; daughters, Sandra Marie Watts Bridges and Norma Louise; and parents, William and Eula May Renfroe.
Mrs. Watts is survived by her son, Kenny (Sheree) Watts; grandchildren, Natalie Marie (Lance) Phillips, Kerri Bridges (Chris) Lisenba, Michanne (Leo) Baltz, and Casey (Marc) Green; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chris Lisenba, Lance Phillips, Leo Baltz, Micah Phillips, Marc Green and Ricky Armstrong.
Honorary pallbearers are Gerald Bridges and Tab Carr.
The family will accept friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
