Funeral services will be 11:30 am Tuesday, November 8,2022, at Crestwood Chapel, for Mr. Herman Lee Gladden, age 72, of Hokes Bluff Alabama, who died Saturday Nov 5, 2022 . Randy Cortez will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Mausoleum.

Herman will be remembered for being head of and protector over his family whom he loved dearly. His second love was fishing, and he was ready to go anytime, or anywhere. He also enjoyed listening to music and making copies of his favorites; he had a collection second to none. He was a proud Army veteran having served in Vietnam. He retired from Anniston Army depot.

He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents Hiram and Agnes Gladden and brother Donny Gladden.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Carolyn; children: Michael and his fiance Kristi, Stacey Ponder and her fiance Lee; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grand boys; sister Patsy(Mark) Halanski; brothers Ricky(Cindy) Gladden, Kenny Gladden; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family requests no flowers; memorials may be made to American Heart Association ,John Hagee Ministries; or your favorite charity.

Pallbearers will be Levi Gladden, Justin Bonds, Timothy and Doug Bly, Lee Smith Donnie Gladden Jr. and Julian Barajas.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 10 am until the time of service.
