Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Crestwood Memorial Chapel for Mrs. Helon Marjorie Clayton, age 86, of Gadsden, who died on Saturday, April 23, 2011. Elders John Clayton and Bob Clayton will officiate the services. Burial will be at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct the services.
Mrs. Clayton was preceded in death by her mother, Jesse Quattlebaum; by her father, John Morris Wagnon; and by her brother, J.M. Wagnon.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carl Cody Clayton; by her daughter, Beverly Fugatt; step father, Cecil Quattlebaum; brothers, Charles (Kathey) Quattlebaum and Johnny Wagnon; sister, Joann (Perry) Wagnon; grandchildren, Sherry (Tommy) Bain, Carla Laird and Leighann (Scott) Taylor; 4 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In-Lieu- of-flowers, memorials may be made to The Leukemia Foundation.
Pallbearers will be Charles Quattlebaum, Scott Taylor, Tommy Bain, Timmy Bobbitt, Channing Black and Stan Clayton.
